A little behind-the-scenes look at the Amber Grain process. 

All of the outfits are quite complex and were created using a variety of techniques. I combine digital fabrication with the transformation of historical lace, using 3D modeling to create growth molds for roots. This outfit is a beautiful example of that fusion. Thanks to a wonderful encounter with Nela Bartáková, who introduced me to her contemporary approach to bobbin lace using wool yarn, an amazing collaboration was born — and it truly bore fruit. Nela is an exceptional artist with a strong voice in the field of textile design. All the wool used is hand-spun, and the bra was needle-felted by hand.
