3D PRINTED TEXTILES

During the Makeful project with Linette, I had the opportunity to explore and develop various techniques of 3D-printed textiles. These included:
Infill manipulation – adjusting the internal structure of the print to create flexible or decorative mesh-like patterns.Sublimation printing – transferring color onto flexible 3D-printed textiles to enhance their surface aesthetics.
TPU printing on fabric – directly printing thermoplastic polyurethane onto textiles to merge softness with structure.
Dual-extrusion printing – combining different materials or colors in a single print for layered effects.
Textile integration – embedding fabrics into the print during the process to create hybrid materials.
Flexible parametric patterns – designing with Grasshopper or similar tools to generate adaptable, wearable structures.
Post-processing techniques – layering, heat-forming, hand 3D printing
